Dom Maklerski Banku Handlowego S.A. offers the function of issuer’s market animator to issuers of securities listed on the WSE. According to WSE Regulations, issuer’s animator is a member of the WSE, who – based on an agreement executed with the issuer – undertakes to support market liquidity of the given financial instrument. Market animator services of DMBH include:

• regular placing of buy/sell offers in the Warset system in volumes set forth in the agreement executed (volume of the offer depends on size of the company and historical or expected trading volumes),
• maintaining a fixed, agreed with the issuer, price range between the buy and sell orders,
• supplementing the offer within 5 minutes if any of the orders are performed,
• preparing monthly or quarterly reports from activities of the market animators, stating the volume and number of transactions closed.

Function of the issuer’s market animator improves liquidity of securities listed on the WSE, particularly in small or medium sized companies. Regularly available quotations of the being animated security allows the animator to be regularly present in the ask/bit sheet and thus, enables other market participants to execute transactions.
